g'day all.
I have a 93 NH 3lt auto Jabber which by my own admittion has had a hard life, been everywhere, towed everything and driven pretty hard.
Guess wear and tear is setting in as I'm losing a lot of power. New sparks, leads, air filters, new auto + engine oils, new auto filter, cleaned injectors with fuel suppliments... not much improvement.
Seems to me the engine is ok, it revs up hard and has a lot of torque, problems seems to be the auto tranmission. (Seems like a slipping clutch feel in a manual). Im warming to the idea my auto transmission is warn out but since auto's use viscous coupling to operate how is this so? Any suggestions to cheak out are most welcome.
Additionally... anyone know much about putting a manual transmision box into one of these bad boys. Already have a manual paj prop shaft.
cheers
Jase
