just wondering where you guys have mounted your air tank/s in your SWB patrols? also, what size (dimensions & capacity if known) are they?

I am looking at putting an OBA system in soon, just planning it all out first :armsup:

I wouldnt put one INSIDE the car, you would put it under the car, thats where most go.. although Woop has 2 inside the rear cargo area in his...

Up along chassis rails under drivers seat is a long open void you can use for this, or along near rear diff.

On a shorty have heard of them being mounted on the underside of the floorpan where it comes up to form the floor of the cargo area/rear seat.
This was using a long thin aluminium tank though.

I have a 40L tank mounted behind the cargo barrier on an LPG gas tank frame modified to hold the smaller tank. I made it to be easily removable if i need the space. Its a fully certified and tested truck airtank and has quick connect locking airbrake fittings for connecting the tank up to the rest of my air system. I used high pressure hydraulic hose and a stop flow valve is installed in the supply and delivery lines incase of a hose rupture. This tank complements one already installed under the truck to the RHS chassis rail.
