Power Steering Pump

Post by g35me »

Anyone experienced a loud pulley noise comming from the power steering pump, could this be a stuffed bearing? I'm afraid it will seize.

What motor is in your 80??? as only the 3F Petrol had a pulley driven pump and those pumps wern't the best, the diesels and FZ motors had direct driven pumps gear driven on the motor.

You guessed it...its a 3FE Petrol. Would it be the bearing? Any common problems that you could tell me about with that pump?
