Anyone know how big a Sierra engine is in actual size and the 5 speed g/box. Picking up my new engine on the weekend and want to make sure it will fit in the back of the GQ

bout 40kg. will fit in my proton so a gq should be fine.

Gbox is bout 25kg. probably fit in the front footwell in the pootrol.

theres no way a sierra engine could weigh 40kg. Jesus. The lighter it is the better though cause I'll picking one up at a self serve wrecker maybe next week, might not even need a wheelbarrow.

Just wanted to be able to say that to you Mr. Grimbo.

On a more serious note take a couple of plastic tubs that you can sit the engine so that you don't spill any oil on your carpet.

Or take a 6x4 trailer, no mess, no smells and easier to load and unload.
