Post by cam yagan »

I was driving today and some stupid casey donovan look alike slammed right up my arse. Im glad because i already had a stuffed rear bumper which is now even more stuffed. However, previously my fuel tank was also dented and i wanna say it got damaged so i can get a new one on insurance. It goes to the assessors on monday. Does ne1 know what i can do to make it look like the impact dented my feul tank? This is serious and i would be grateful for any help. Thanks

I think insurance assessors read the internet, too.
You probably just signed your own gaol certificate.

mines missing about 3L... perhaps more.. its not pretty under there! =P

better off leaving the tank till youre realllllly sick of it, then put a bigger stronger one in.

you can always claim its a custom bumper and needs to be custom made again... get a nice new ass for it?

I cannot imagine what kind of impact you'd need to dent the fuel tank.

Just grin and bear it like the rest of us do and put up with the dents - at least you don't have to commit fraud to do that.

PS I don't think asking for advice on how to defraud insurance companies on a publicly viewable internet forum is the best idea

was it the Australian Idol one or the porn star one because it makes a big difference in your story

And to the question. Not a good idea to ask how to defraud an insurance company also as stated very hard to dent a fuel tanl unless it is the back but to try and convinve them the underneath was dented from a rear end shunt isn't going to work

I dont know if vitara tanks are stronger but mine (sierra) crumpled when I was rear ended. Her car needed a tow, the only other damage to mine was didnted bumper and smashed tail light.
