gq viscous fan hub

Can any body help with re using some oil from toyota to top up gq hub thats not comming on, any other advise appreciated, its a 4.2 diesel turbo and she gets bloody hot, but have confirmed problems with fan

best bet is do a search on Fan Hub (make it include all) and you should be able to find out how to do it and the p/n's of the stuff from toyota. I have done it, it isnt a hard job.

Undo all eight bolts and fill it up with two tubes of toyo silicon.

I bought a new non gen hub for my GQ in Gympie at Christmas. CROC Spares or something. Cost like $130, I fitted it. Is it really worth refilling at that? Mine had play in the shaft and was leaking oil.

Prob not if it was leaking but if it is not leaking it only cost about $40 to refill with oil
