I have one of these fitted to my GQ
Im assuming its the external pump ??
Just the simple solenoid setup ??

If so - they stop quicky at the first sign of dirt.
Mine has stopped twice.
Both times I pulled the bugger out and removed gunk.
Now with a better filter setup - its been running smooth for ages.

There are probably several other types of elec fuel pumps you could replace it with quite simply. Ask at repco or Bursons.

Cheers

One of the other things you can do is use the original pickup and use an inline aftermarket fuel pump.
