Diff Place in Melb

Post by ToNkA »

Ok, want to know some good place in Melbourne to get some Diffs rebuilt, gears changed etc...

I know of Mcnamara Diffs, but they seem real expensive (but all reports are, there work is good)

Anyone been to any others, had work done?

Do tell...

Make sure that where you take your diff is a respected diff joint and offer a warranty on there work. Cheap isnt always good.
I had a bad experiance with my diffs, backlash and lap in were not set right and were noisy, eventually f@#king my front crownwheel, cost me $ 550 for new gears in front and had to pull down rear end to check and re-adjust rear backlash. :x
