Help My Bundys Dead

Post by doddyz »

HI I have a 86 bundera 2.4 litre petrol. I was driving and then it stalled and will not start again.

I think the coil pack with a built in igniter is stuffed, because there was no or very little spark.

Could someone please tell me where I could get one from or how I could find out exactly what the problem is?. Are these coils expensive because the engine I gather has electronic ignition?.

Cheers

Ignition coil should be part number CC258 (champion) listed at repco @ around $100 retail or cheaper with trade discount.

the best way to test the spark is to lick your finger stick it in the coil
led & get som1 to kick her over

Good news

Good news it was a faulty coil.

Replace coil and igniter and now starts.
