2 of my 8 body mount on my vit are copping a hammering.

is this a common problem?

how is this fixed? can i staighten them back out, and brace them up?

anyone got any pics?

you could weld another triangle going from left to right, so the thing is braced for sideways movement?? ie; if this: | o | is the view looking up at it, the 'o' is the nut, weld 2 braces either side that go: /| o |\ with just some 5mm mild steel triangles. front on would look like: --| |-- (the dashes being the braces)

Have you still got rubber between the chassis and body ?

Looks like its solid mounted ,the design of these mounts is specifically for the proper shaped rubber inner and outer and the correct washer .
The Chassis and body actually flex at a diffrent rate these type of mounts are used to allow for the difference,
whats BL stand for ? Body Lift ?

put more mounts inbetween the mounting points ive got at least 18 and havent had any bent mounts
84 model hardtop, 86in wb, 36 iroks, locked front and rear, lux diffs, exo, power steer, fuel injected 4k corolla 1.3,auto transmission ,2in wheel spacers,3/4 elliptic rear
