Applause engine

inbed. i'm pretty sure the intake mainifold will have to be changed, as well as the dizzy. just swap it over from the old block to the new. stump still has to be changed, as well as the oil pick up. be sure to also swap over the oil cooler, starter, ac pump (if u have one on the roza), and all corrisponding pully's. also you will have to swap over engine brackets and mounts as well as all sensors (oil sensor, water sensor, thermostat, water pump, etc etc). thats all i can think of at the moment off the top of my head. anyone else want to add what i missed?

You CAN leave the Applause inlet manifold, injectors, etc. on. It makes the whole job a lot easier, only thing is that there are a couple of MINOR wiring differences, which an auto electrician should be able to sort out for MINIMAL cost. The engine will run fine without sorting them, but your "Check Engine" light will stay on.
I'd also recommend leaving the dizzy on as well, I've had no problems with pinging since swapping mine, and I think that has a lot to do with the different dizzy.
You will need to swap the sump and, from mamary, the oil pickup...another simple job....just do a search for the instructions I gave Simply PV when he was doing his. Depending on your model/year, there are a couple of other minor things which may need swapping, but if you run into problems, you know where to come for answers.
Good Luck.
