thinking why not, the wagon is a bit slow, its a FJ62, it has a 2F in it on gas, it has previously been a V8 powered beast but I think they changed it back to sell.
Will a 350 bock bolt straight onto the 5 speed, which would be better for both power and ecomical, 253, 308 or 350?
Would I need to get everything for the engine, also whats a 2F engine worth second hand now a days?

mate i have an fj40 i swapped out the 2f for a 350 chev. cost me a shit load. (don't go to 4play conversions in sydney) they f#$$%%$#%^%#cked me around...... worth it, though i don't think it will bolt straight to your gearbox. you'll probably need the marks adaptor kit to bolt it up. (round a grand) the power difference is out of this world. just make sure you do your home work before you go through with it...... 2f's can't be given away these days. and i'd go the 350, with a bit of work they can produce good power, even stroking is a good torque option....... thinking of stroking mine, i'd love to here from anyone who's done it?
good luck.....
good luck.....
if you're gonna do it i'd only use "marks adaptors". about the only company that makes that sort of stuff that actually fits without too much hassle, stay well clear of dellow as they are complete *&^%$wits . as for engine size i live by the moto "IF SOMES GOOD MORES BETTER". go for it man .
it's never a problem until it can't be fixed, even then it' only a minor set back

Look at what you need & what you can afford(you may be able to pick up good secondhand gear) do your research then go for it.
