Cruising RPM

Post by swamp »

I am in the process of rebuilding the lt95 and have afew choices of high range gearing, but I am a bit unsure of which way to go.
At the moment 100km/h gives about 2100 rpm.
Plenty of torque , but I was told that fuel economy would increase if i raise the rpm to 2500.
What is the optimum rpm for highway speeds.
4.6 carb,lt95,4.11-1,34's.

out of my mind, back soon.
