Would cruiser 16x8 steel wheels be an okay offset for running 35's ona GQ Patrol? I know nothing about how much they are offset just need to know if they'd be okay or not.
I run wider offset than that with my 33"s. They'd work but depends on which model cruiser we're talking about.
Normal earlier cruiser offset is -10mm (eg 10mm wider) and standard GQ rims are +25 so you're 35mm wider per side. So that probably makes up for the difference in width and a bit.
Surely the guy you're buying them off will let you fit one up, just allow extra on steering the 35" rubber instead of 31"
If they are factory rims they will not fit. The center hole is 2mm to small in dia.
If they are an aftermarket rim on a toyota. They will fit. As the aftermarket rims are designed to fit over the HUBs of nissans and I think Paj's.
Which if they are aftermarket. The off-set is good. Makes them stick out a little more, but no real harm in that. Anyone running aftermarket rims pretty much run this offset.
