i will be needing longer brake lines soon (well now) and was wondoring how much longer than standard other people have them

It depends on how much longer they need to be, like when lifting a 4x4 or using extended shckles, you should measure how much drop you are going to get the adjust brake line length accordingly

what are the problems if you get them extended too long, for instance i need about 2 inches more, but if i go soa i think i'll need 6-8 inches longer, is there harm in getting the longer lines now?

I think it is just getting them hooked up on stuff that is the main concern. If you tie em up on a light spring I don't think there is too much to worry about

see i like to do things once and right know i would think about 4" longer (my ute has 2" springs and 2" longer shackles) but later i may have 4" springs and 2" drop hangers so that 8" over standared and then you count in flex

does anyone know how much longer GUTS brake lines are and if he ahs had any troubles with soft brake peddle

i got mine from bigballs offroad and they are super long. i've got insane flex in the front and i still can't max them out :D

how nuch are they generaly, and are they hard to bleed out the first time.

i brake guy told me he could make me longer if i bring him the lines he said between 50-70 dollars so i will just get snake ones with are like $60 or somthig each than i can do the swap without having much down time
