No need to. We can see in that pic that the rear is up in the air at the same height as a 37" bogger

yeah what happened???

Dobbins Truck was just an engine bay fire, hyraulic fluid leaked onto something hot under there and went up from what I heard. They put it out and he did the next stage, so couldn't have been too bad.

In the Frame Twister, the MogRover initially didn't attempt the bonus section (driving over two massive tyres) and took the 100 points. Then for the benefit of the crowd, reversed back and attempted the section. It got the front up onto the first tyre where he busted a tie rod (I think) and was going to keep going but did not want to bust anything more so elected not to continue.

To set the story straight!!!

one of the pullies on the motor touched the hydraulic tank and had rubber a hole in the tank. the belt then showered the exhaust in oil causing it to catch on fire. It was fixed in 30 min and ready for the last track of the day.

awesome event ... left there about 4.30 with one car still being fixed so he could have a go.
seemed to be twice as many spectaters as last time and it was pretty hard to get pics from 10 rows back.
scotty was trying to bend the rev limiter on the rocky horror and had the crowd goin off ... crazy man.
sam would have done better but the mog was missing and backfiring after the mud run.
pics later.
damn long drive home and have to go to work now ... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

hey shane, we were the goons in front of you when you went in on saturday morning. the ones in the white rodeo 2wd ute. didn't get to catch up with you though.

i agree with what you said about seeing stuff, it was a right royal pain in the ass. so much for their terraced viewing areas that were sposed to be there. for this reason i got all of about 5mins of video footage, cause it was just too damn hard to see anything.

At times it wasn't any better sitting right up front either. I missed out on some great close up photo's because there was quite simply to many "recovery" people on the course standing directly in front of me. There is absolutely no reason for the recovery crew to be on the course when a vehicle doesn't need to be recovered, apart from them wanting to get a better view to watch and at times standing in some stupid places that they deserved to be run over for.

When "asked" to move, you ended up with replies like "go buy the video when it comes out", it's not like i actually payed to watch the backs of a bunch of people in safety vests walk around on rocks.
