Standard rim sizes

Hi guys, can some one tell me what the standard rim size was for a 1996 Cherokee Grand Laredo? Also what would be largest size that could fit a standard vehicle, i know the ones on it now are pretty small. As i've got to suss out some new tyres for the inlaws Jeep. Thanks.
