im going to drill a hole in my roof to run the wiring for my roof lights, im going to need to lower the roof lining a little to run them, looks easy enough to get off, but looks like it might be tricky to get it all back together neatly, any advice would be appreciated
thanks

removing interior trim/roof lining in a GQ
Re: removing interior trim/roof lining in a GQ
the white sticky shit they use to hold the trim on is some real nasty shit.. gets everywhere and as you try to remove can stretch the material.. I have the Ti and this happened when was runnin cables for the Roof console.
Do you need to drill a hole? Most just run the wire one of 230000 other ways...

Re: removing interior trim/roof lining in a GQ
i just thought it would be a bit neater with the hole drilled and the wiring all tucked away out of site, i have been thinking maybe i could thread the wiring through a small hole in the roof lining and then run it down the side of the pillar in a thin conduit, i dont really like the idea of running it in through the door as i think over time the cables would get squashed and damaged, im open to any other suggestions or ideas thoughbogged wrote:the white sticky shit they use to hold the trim on is some real nasty shit.. gets everywhere and as you try to remove can stretch the material..
