What a great weekend. what an experience.

I would like to thank Sam Keck for giving me the oppotunity to use the Vitara to compete in TT along with Sean for both putting in many hours to help get the Vit there.

having not even driven the Vit onto the trailer myself we arrived at TT where the Vit overheated 3 imes in the space of 15 mins. It had a blown head gasket (thats what the Previous Owner thought) and sawzall had changed it. We flushed the cooling system to get out what was believed to be residue crap from the preivious head gasket failure. later that night as myself and mates were getting the truck ready to do the night event (I run last on all courses) we realised that oil was still getting in. anyway we finally found a welsh plug under the cam at the rear was corroded through. So the rest of the night we pulled the head off and stripped it down and missed the night run. Got my mates to get parts first thing and we put it back togeather and competed in all stages.

On the frame twister we had a fuel problem where crappy old rusty fuel was still getting to the carby. fixed that with a inline filter and clean carby out.

only other problems was a rolled tyre off rim on mini wiraba and a broken transfercase mount on the rocky horror.

If we had had another day so we could have tested the Vit who knows what may have happened.

It is a credit to Sam and Sean as to how well it drives, and the last stage I drove showed this, if you missed it wait till the DVD comes out

Tim drove great all weekend, apitty about the large penalty as he would have been right up there. WELL DONE TIM :D

Sam was unlucky on the Sunday due to the "great mud event" causing all types of greif with his sierra. He was right up there till those problems. great drive on frame twister.

I to would like to thank all those who helped out the last 3 weeks (Sam, spazbot, sean, micheal, chuck, redzook, chopzuki).

I am very jelous and sorry that I didn't make it too support the zook boys and in paticular to see red zook and have my zook there,
my zook is finished I just needed flares on it.
I was due to go and watch sunday, but I dislocated my knee at soccer. sorta put an end to evrything for 6weeks and sport for the year.

I can drive in 6 weeks and the zook will be out and about by then.

Results are up on their site

Adding 210 points for "safety breachs" would have got you 4th Tim....
