Home Made Air Tank?
Home Made Air Tank?
Will search shortly, bust first i need to know... will a 4.5kg LPG tank be a perfect compressed air tank? and if so, how much PSI are they generally rated to? google seems to tell me the release valve is about 250-300psi?
If this is the case - technically, before a trip, if i pump up the lpg to 220psi, i should have enough air to fully pump up all my tyres to get back on the road? =)
Just a thought... but the PSI rating seems to be the most worrying part. would hate it to heat up and go boom in the back of the zuk! 200 odd psi to a 4.5kg tank is a LOT of pressure to be coming at the back of my skull!

Best mounting spot i reckon is outside the zuk, probably on the rear end.
Also condensed air also creates moisture, so if it like most cages it is built from mild steel, it will rust internally. This happens quite quickly! Just use a air/water separator on the end of an air hose, and you will see just how much is produced.
Again please, search as you going over stuff that has great tech available.
