Finer Filter Oil?

What oil can i use to re oil my finer filter? is light weight mineral oil ok?

It is best to use specific filter oil rather than substitutes as the oil plays a significant role in providing the air filtration. Why skimp a few dollars on cheaper oil when it could cost you significant wear [or possibly worse]. If it is in an emergency, normal motor oil could be used but I would wash it out and apply the right stuff when able. See this link if you want to see more http://www.finerfilter.com/filterfix.asp

The proper stuff is really thick and tacky. It will form stringy bits between your finger when you seperate them- nothing like normal mineral oils.

Get the right stuff. ;)
