I have seen one disengage half way up a climb, it was nearly disasterous as a result the guy who owned it sent it back to Marks 3 times and it still wasnt right so he ended up pulling it out and doing the diff gears. It was a shame that he had to resort to this as it could have been a good product if all the bugs had been ironed out before it put so many people off.
It first happened just after he bought it about a year or so ago, he pulled it out and sent it back they repaired it, he got it back and it was good for a short period then failed again, he sent it back twice more with no luck and was told that there was nothing wrong with it. By this time it was out of warrenty and he was out of patients.
talked to on off the teck. guys at mark's he they haven't had any prob's with it coming out off gear.he said it would be until the end off the year for the split transfercase's .well if the price comes down i'll look at it then
