just thought theres a heap of parts out there for them, cheap as chips. Bit worried about power though. Inj 5l would be nice but bit pricey for a good donk

it's not expressly listed as a v6 conversion rather an hj45 - which is why i called the seller. still, no good for me out here.

maybe this link works:

who are best people to speak to about a conversion kit? What other conversions can be done on a budget with fuel injection?

Run it just on gas, u got a ute, = big tank!!!

man, i been looking for 2nd hand V6 conversion for ages none seem to come up.
if you got the $$ go to marks.

if your on a budget, look at injecting a 253,308 or 302 as those conversion kits come up alot.

or buy another cheap as chips 2F and save thousands.

other thought, have you considered injecting the 2F??

I work on a 3F that has XF Fairmont multi point inj adapted on to it. It also runs the XF dissy. Starts and runs well, no cruiser flat spots etc.

If u go the commie v6, don't go gas, the gas will kill the motor real quick.
That's why taxis are Falcons, they can handle lpg. ;)

I didn't fit the system.
It appears to have a plate bolted to the manifold face with the extractors connected to it and the inj manifold connected to it by flanges and 1.75" exhaust U bends.
Possibly the EA TBI would be even easier to adapt

i'm interested in the EA throttle body injection on my 2F it would be an easy mod to do as the EA uses a MAP sencor so you can still use the original aircleaner ,i've modified an original 2F dizzy..(late 40series 60 series ) with 5ME cressida dizzy internals and ignitor coil...and works a treat!...doesnt like water though..i've had the 2F run backwards before when its wet...yes i did say backwards...funny to see..and carbys dont make good mufflers either sound liek crap..

If you haven't found out already ....
Mark's Adaptors won't do a GM V6 into the cruiser they say the cruiser is to heavy and the longevity of the motor is crap due to the excess heat generated...I know they look like a good swap on paper but they reckon it doesn't last
I hear you, with regards to the carby, I have seen so many other carbies splutter and flood on anything other than flat ground even the mid bowl holleys (the toyota original ones seem OK though)
I would be looking for something with injection too

Good Luck

there was a thread on injection recently in tech. too lazy to search it but its there.
the company mentioned appears a possibility.

i keep looking for yanks who have injected 2F but with petrol prices and cheap parts over there most go V8s instead.
