Diff Rebuild...

Post by nicbeer »

Hey,

Many done this before,

Just wondering what the cost would be for al the seals and bearings needed to rebuild a NT front diff. I will be putting in a Locker from sawsall's WT but reusing my centre. If you can break down the cost it would be cool.

Is the cost for the rear similar? If not what is the approx cost for that as well.

I am in Perth as well.

thanks

What parts do you need first??

pinion bearing, oil and seals.

Best just ringing around for best prices of these parts.

Try brian @ suzi west, coventry's, repco, super shit, etc etc

Don't know what seals bearing's i need. I am going to have a look at the FSM to see if the part numbers are listed.

I want to redo another straight front diff at a mates place, before it goes in. i am thinking pinion bearing/axle seals and diff cover plate. Any more to think about doing whilst i am there.

cheers
