I've got them in my Zook, it was originally NT, moved hangers out and easy.

Word of advice, shave them before you put them in, weld on rock guards before you put them in and rebuild them before you put them in.

LJEXTREME also has them in his zook buggy.

Stronger than Hilux shiat :finger:

I'd agree it's too hard to find lockers for MQ diffs second hand, but really anyone selling 2nd hand lockers is selling them cause they are fucked.

Not that it's any easier to find used hilux lockers - no one who has them sells them.

$700 brand new from ARB gets you an air locker, it's money well spent if you are building the rig to keep for a while.

Lockers! you can get air lockers, and lockrites,
or you can weld them of course, what other lockers are there.

The front diff bolts straight upto wide track spring spacing, spring under, and the pumpkin is a bit more offset, so u have no problems with sump clerance.
Most MQ/MK diffs are 4.6 ratio, and the width of the diff end to end from memory was about 20mm wider than vitara rear.
the rear is offset almost too much, but helps with clerance, and u can shave a heap off. U do have to move the rear spring pads though.
GQ size CV's and breaks, bigger than GQ tie rod, draglink and rod ends.

and u can get thm from pick appart for between $130 and $170 an end

I widend my front diff to make the fixed spring pad work in narrow trac position.

the MQ donor that i used was about $600.

Kept the diffs, brake booster (you will need this), driveshafts, washer bottle, clutch cylinder, driving lights and sold the rest for $150 to the wreckers.

That's the thing, you won't get Toy wrecks that cheap.

Sounds like a good option.

Can you get strengthened CV's for them?
