Post by YankeeDave »

a guy here at work has offered me his intercooler off his XR6 turbo for $250 as he put a huge one on.

does this sound good? and would it be worth putting on my GQ turbo diesel?

I would mount it infront of the radiator

I'd buy it if only to resell it to someone else if it doesn't flow enough for your application. ;)

those XR6 turbo coolers are pretty small, use it see how you go and if its not suitable or you dont like it then just sell it!

From memory they are a 76mm (3") core. They are a Genuine Garrett bar and plate cooler, may not be the biggest out there, but they ar every efficient. At $250, thats $150 cheaper than anywhere i have found, buy it!! And if you dont, PM me, and i will :D
