Parts as in rotors and caps

Post by benjamin78au »

okay i have a 16gb motor and what to know part numbers, mainly on what the rotor ,dissy cap and may be coil , or what fits and works, mine has 2 bolts to hold the dissy cap on,

as local guys mean well but just can't find exactly it and when they have said yeah should , it doesn't so. geniune been told there are 3 possible rotors for that motor, and caps, well, there are 2, if i guessed wrong it was no refunds on $90. so looked aftermarket, i managed to get a bosh that is exatly the same as original, now i need rotor.

Tried ecalon or something spelt kind like that , even tried a bosh rotor from a swift that is meant to fit, and it still no good. heck i can even tell ya the one from old 1.3 serria wont fit. so who has replaced theirs and what brand is it and where you find it. Been told champion do make the rotor so i might end up going that way.

Heck if any one has a spare coil and a button , let me know. as most parts are taking 3 days to come in so,delays have got car in garage for 2 weeks now.

Just watch out for the coil if it needs a resistor or not. I run a sports square coil on my zook with std engine.

cheers

good point, i think the std vit is an internal resistor so when i checked it . it is to factory spec, if i screwed the coil u would think it would be differant.

damn i might just spend the $$$ and get a mechanic out .
