Gearing Wanted

Post by lay80n »

After investigating some nasty sounds coming from my driveline this arvo, i have deduced that something has crapped itself in my current transfer with series ones gears. I havent pulled the case apart yet, but i am pretty sure that its stuffed. Seeing as we have not got a wanted section ATM, has anybody got any gears or know of any gears for sale 2nd hand, or if Sam or whoever could post or PM me some prices i would be very appreciative. Im after around 5.14 calminis or similar ratio's.
Cheers

speaking of gears - the calmini 5.14's are dirt cheap compared to rockhopper (especially with what you get in the deal!)

Anyone running these right now? how are they holding up??

Yeah I got 5.14s from M&M Engineering. With 32" mongrels and 3.9 diffs they are just perfect!!

Current price is approx. $1195 I think. Cheaper than the $1350 I paid but that happens with new products eh? Nice complete kit too--oil and everything.

please note that these are NOT complete kits....

the do come with oil,countershaft,washers,c/s bearings.. but not main bearings and seals....

however we have been using these for a fair while now and have never had any dramas...
