I'm just trying to think out loud here after seeing Wendle's new car build up thread. He's got a set of mog diffs with passenger side drop in the front axle and plans to run an upside down Nissan tcase.
I was just wondering if another set up would work with these diffs. I've been trying to find a good combination for running mid mounted engines.
So with this, you'd mount the engine in the back with the transmission facing the front, and have the tcase mounted the normal way. Would the shafts still turn the diffs in the right direction?

i think the best way to do it would be to use a front wheel drive engine and transaxle like matt dunk did with the blue buggy. there is some heavy shit to get spinning in the mog axles though, so you'd want something with decent power. maybe a souped up sr20, or a late model magna v6 or something..
you'd probably end up sitting with your feet over the front axle..
