Check point 1 was alsome
2 cars kissed trees
2 cars droped front drive shafts
3 cars tried to filp on the 50 pointer
and the PAJERO did the 30 pointer on its first try (shame it broke CV on stage 2 )
Bloody good night :)
Cut down Sierra cab on extended LWB chasie running, Hilux front and Bundy back, with a 4AGZE should be finished about umm soon. A 60 Series work truck and some go fast toys too.

Are you sure that was your first go?

It was a big turn out at the start, but pitty most pulled out before they even got to the check points. And half the people that got to the check points were Grimace jeep posers that didn't want to drive anything. :finger:

Was a good night but could of been heaps better if more people finished it.

I am nearly positive that you are the same person that was a tosser at the Redbank Plains hard trip last year, that I had a rant about giving your club a bad image. I was riding shotgun in what was probably the first of the jeeps to come through and my driver had just had plates put in his wrists 3 months ago so he was just happy to be able to drive. I am pretty sure that by the time NCW got there, there would have been more driving it.

At least we got there

:finger:

Maybe I am only reacting to your jest because I am sure I have had a run in with you before even through I don't know who you are.

not just Jeeps but there were a few HEAVILY modified cars that took one look at the stage then said, no SWB no good for hill climbs. My tiny pajero did the run and made it 30 points :) and a tree

not a cheep shot at anybody but........

why is it that people always shit on what 4wd's people drive
we are all there for the same reason to have fun, who cares that people don't drive a checkpoint, at least they are wheeling and supporting local 4wd clubs :!:

I am sorry that you have taken things in the worng way andy, last night and on that hard run last year.

I had about ten jeeps go through at the same time and only a couple even wanted to attempt it, the rest just drove off and ignored the fact that there was evena check point. And I called them posers becasue I heard they were caught a few times posing during the run and taking pictures of each other.

Because some people are just tossers.... like the duckwit that stood there at CP2 and told me the jeep people should buy a toyota so they could then 'drive it'.
I dont think he realized until i got back into my friends JEEP that he was whinging to the wrong person.

It was a good run, except for the usual duckwits that make it less than enjoyable because they need to size their penis's up.
I commend one of our jeep guys who wasn't locked and drove it all without a problem! That's not the car, that's talent. Same to everyone else.

And cheers to the guys who pulled me up over the night congratulating NCW and i for having a go at last weekends winch challenge (expo).
That to me, is true companionship.

oh my god....

THAT WAS ME taking pictures..... damnit.... caught out.
Why they invent digital cameras in the first place, who knows.... ahhh, yes. to keep them locked up at home so you dont have any memories of the good trips you go on.

bugger.....

Dude
Um I really don’t know how to tell you this but I am thinking you need to calm the f*&k down. I drive a Pajero and am constantly given shit about it, build a bridge and get over it. If you don’t want peeps to say it go out and go hard or maybe go home and btch on the net. As I said it wasn’t just jeeps that were over modified and under driven but if you want to take it as meaning that then ok
I was told by one of the Hammond jeeps that "SWB can’t climb that" The first car to do it was a SWB Nissan and the last my SWB Pajero. As was said at the beginning of the run, it’s the driver’s choice weather they try or not, if you want to use yours as a very sexy looking shopping trolley then cool, just don’t expect people to be impressed with its ability

when did this happen  :?: :?:

i did slide into a big hole but i never flopped it, i dont believe i lifted a wheel all night. when i slide in the hole i was on a nice side angle though, my car is very stable  , i scratched some of my paint though  , but yes car is still very straight it has a tiny tiny didnt in the driver door about the size of a 10 cent piece from being snatched out of the hole, but that is all. also broke front drive shaft on check point 1 (bubs was driving at the time :bad-words: )
