what sort of fuel consumption can be expected from a 98-2000 disco

Guys in my club with 300Tdi discos used to claim anywhere between 8.5 and 11L/100. Usually under 10 for combined city/highway.

For 3.9V8

20L/100K around town
16-17L/100K highway

That is average and there are very few V8s that get any better, Stu is one bloke here that has a good one but the rest of us get about that

I own a series 1 disco 97' model and on my last trip from Gold Coast to Adelaide and home again i averaged 7.5L per 100k at an average speed of 115km/ph with a snorkel and new air filter. I average around 9.5 to 10L per 100k around town. Hope this helps some.
