dropped front hanger

can any one give me any info or pics on doing a dropped front hanger cross member in my hilux, i need to know what thickness of wall you need if i use 50x50 box and also do i use my origanal hangers again that i cut off or should make some new ones if i make new ones what out of,
any feed back is greatly appreciated.

With dropped hanger, use 100x50x3mm RHS box section. You could try to salvage your old hangers but there not expensive to buy. I'd advice that you brace them back along the chassis rails.

how do you mean brace back along the chasiss, please excuse my ignorance.
what do you brace ?

Excuse the very lame diagram picture this as a side view.
The parralel lines are the chassis, the box is the hangers and the diagonal bar at 45 degrees is a brace. I'll try and get pics soon

just buy the 5o mm dropped hangers and weld them onn where you cut the old ones off.

superior engineering do, im guessing about the 200 to 300 dollar mark, or if u want it posted, snake racing or BBM
