G'day Marshy, We really enjoyed your event last year and are keen to come down from Rocky again. Was wondering if you could send an entry form up as they become available?

No, can be people from all areas of the community. The guys that won last year, were from On Track 4WD Centre. Most were members of a club somewhere along the line, but some were not. It doesn't matter, our insurance will cover everybody.

Cheers Davo
Hey Davo.
Mate, I will definately email you guys an entry form again this year. As organisers, we really enjoyed your team's ability to have a laugh and a joke, while still maintaining a competitive spirit. Trust me, you will have a form as soon as they are done up.

I would also like to hear from any businesses out there that would be interested in sponsoring this year's Logan Challenge. We are on the hunt for all levels of sponsorship, including a naming rights sponsor.
Aza, we have a good mix of terrain in the Logan Challenge. Ther are some stages where the driving is very tough, and some stages where brainpower is needed more than horsepower.
We recommend a well set-up vehicle with locker/s being a distinct advantage, good sill clearance and/or protection is a good idea, and a truck that can hold together well, as there are very limited times to fix trucks.
Have a chat to Scotty, as he completed it last year.
Based on last year I'd agree with above, lockers are an advantage to the driving stages, a good winch for at least one car is a must, good teamwork and reliability across all vehilces is really important. Sometimes lighter weight cars are good too - try handwinching a 3 tonne patrol, or towing a dead one!

PS Marshy, entry went in the mail today for this years team - "TT Challenge Patrols"
The confirmed competitors list has just gone to 10, with the defending champions, On Track 4WD Centre, just confirming their spot. (With an almost unchanged line-up from last year's team).
I am going to check the mailbox again this afternoon, so we could even have a full field by now.
I'm sorry guys, but we can only take the first 12 PAID entries. As I'm sure you can all appreciate, we can't just give verbal promises for spots, otherwise we'd end up with 20 teams ringing saying that they were promised a spot, and they were "gonna pay". In past experiences, we just can't do it. We've been burnt in the past, so we're not going to let it happen again.
List of PAID entrants:
1. On Track 4WD Centre.
2. Moreton Districts Off-Road Club.
3. Team Confusion.
4. Rockcrawling QLD.
5. Team Smarties
6. Team DNF.
7. Zukes of Hazard.
8. Team TT Challenge.
9. Team TBA (83lux's team).
10. Team Trackabout
My apologies for anyone that may miss out on a spot, but we have to cap it at 12 teams. We will be taking two reserve teams this year, in the event that we have any teams pull out for any reason.
We now have a full field, including our two reserve teams.
My apologies to anyone that missed out on a place.
The field is as follows....
Team 1 - Bega Rd. Auto Wreckers. (formerly On Track 4WD Centre).
Team 2 - Moreton Districts Off-Road Club.
Team 3 - Team Confusion.
Team 4 - Rockcrawling QLD.
Team 5 - Team Smarties.
Team 6 - Team DNF.
Team 7 - Zukes of Hazard.
Team 8 - Team TT Challenge Nissan.
Team 9 - Team (TBA).
Team 10 - Team Trackabout.
Team 11 - NBS4x4 1.
Team 12 - NBS4x4 2.
Reserve Teams:
Team 13 - Team Tough Tracks 1.
Team 14 - Team Tough Tracks 2.
All teams fully paid.
Rules and regs will be posted to all competitors very soon.
Thanks guys.
