Post by profpinz »

Has anyone got a wiring diagram for an older 3 solenoid control unit used on the early 2 post motors.

Thanks

Tried that earlier, but nothing unfortunately
Google came up with a few sites, but all info is on the later 4 solenoid units, not the 3.

E-mail them.

A mate got some good info out of them about an older industrial spec winch just be dropping them an e-mail. Make sure you include S/N and P/N of all the bits if you have them. Apparently he got a response pretty quickly too.

Yep, permanent magnet motor!
Two of the solenoids are double throw and the third a single!

The two double throws have 4 main terminals (two top, two on the sides) and the single has just two main terminals on the top.
Some of the terminals are linked with copper bars.

Thanks!

G'Day Kris,

Well that's my final option!
I initially thought a wiring diagram would be pretty easy to come by.....Wrong!! :)

........so I'm fast thinking that is the best option.
