Improving highway performance on Hilux Surf
G'day all, I have just traded up from an old 2.2 hilux ute (1981) to a 1991 Hilux surf in excellent condition with only 120000 on the clock. The motor is the 2.4 turbo deisel.
Just wondering what I can do to make it slightly more economical on the highway.
I am currently thinking of installing a snorkel, but have also considered installing a hiclone or two.
Does anyone have any experience with hiclones on turbo diesels??
Also, does anyone have any tips on where to pick up a cheap Snorkel, I'm up in Townsville and the cheapest i can find is $490 installed.

as tuff 75 said, i have the 2lte motor, running a bit over standard and with a snorkel i think its a bit of a joke, but saves water ingress, the best thing i did was to get my self a top mount intercooler, from a late model paj.
