Turbo Exhaust Manifold for 2.8L (3L) Hilux

Post by BUNDERA »

Hey there people,
It has been a hell of a long time since I posted up on here...

Just wondering if anybody knows where I can get a Turbo exhaust manifold for a 2.8L Diesel Lux?

What turbo flange do most of them have? Is it a t25 flange like many of the garrett series?

how much do they usually go for?

Ohh yeah and what do people do for oil/water lines?

Hope all is well.

Cheers,
Nick

Oil and water lines tap your water into and out of the heater hoses. On mine the easiest way was one into the heater line across the front of the block and 1 in to the thermostat housing. Oil, there is several places in the block depending on where your pressure switch is now. On the right side of the block there are 2 BSP threads, one in the middle near engine mount, 1 close to the bellhousing. Use which ever is unsused now. Get ENZED or Fluidmasters to make a hose up for maybe $20. For return get another longer banjo bolt and banjo and fit it in place of the alternator vac pump oil return, making sure it has sufficient flow for both. Check out your local 4WD wrecker and look thru his box of fittings. Manifold, get it with the turbo, or better still just buy a kit

hey Nick, long time!

dude you have welding skillz - get a header flange from an exhaust shop and some steampipe bends, and make up a custom manifold, it's not rocket science.

cheers
