I was wondering if anyone could tell me roughly how much it would cost to convert my 92 vitara to an efi motor and who do you recommend to do it in nsw

its hard to give exact figures as getting the frontcut can vary bigtime in $.

there is a fair bit of work to be done...yes the engine and box bolt in but thats about it...

the loom is totally different.. so make sure you get all the accessories that go with it...as the plugs are different in most cases(guage cluster,relays,combination switch.. you will also have to join the rear loom into the efi loom...

the inner guards have different brackets spot welded to them for various things so you will need these too...

if your putting in the air con you need to change the whole lot (heater box inc..) however you will find that the holes are all there in the firwall and it does bolt in without mods..

we usually run a commodore vl external fuel pump (unless requested not to)..these are cheap and flow more than enough..

depending on how much you get the cut for and if you are going to to the work or someone else it can be anywhere from $1200 to $4000..

$4000 being expensive. :armsup:

why not just buy a injection manifold and injection too sute? probly $400-$600

vl fuel pump $200 new $40 seconhand

auto electrician to wire it all up $700-$1000

saves doing a hole engine conversion
