Just do one side at a time. Undo sway bar and lower shockie mount then jack up the car remove the wheel and you should have enough drop in the rear axle to pull out the old spring and fit the new spring. I used stands under the chasis to hold the car up. Then used the jack under the diff to remove the wheel and then to lower the diff to allow the spring to come out. Once the new spring is fitted used the jack under the diff to raise the diff until I could fit the shockie (shockie stops the diff from moving down far enough to allow removal of spring). Refit wheel and sway bar and thats one side done.
Pajero GLX 2.8td 255/85/16 BFG muds 265/75/16 BFG AT's, articulator, 2.5inch lift, ball joint flip, rear sway bar disconnect and lots of mods.

I did the same as jtop but found that I still needed to compess the new springs to get them in. I used a couple of ratchet straps to compress the springs enough to install them. The factory springs came out without any trouble.

hi guys .. i've got a '98 lwd pajero that is about to get a little lift.
are standard gq patrol spring the go for around 50mm lift in the rear?.
