How do you remove then replace a windscreen on a 40 series, current one is cracked so getting it out should be easy but how do I get the replacement one in??
Should I just call O'Brien ??
Any help appreciated

If your old ones cracked it'll probably break on the way out.
Slot new glass into rubber seal
Then get a looong piece of thin rope and cram it into the other lip which holds it in the windscreen frame - both sides and the top. Seat the bottom of the glass, get a mate to push on new glass in as you peel the rope out and squeeze the rubber into place from the inside of the cab. Worked for me. Cycle tyre levers helped heaps

Hi im new. Im a coachbuilder by trade and used to fit wind screens to busses. To get the old screen out get a snap blade knife and cut the outstde rubber away. Get another person outsde to catch the screen as you apply even pressure to the inside of the screen to pop the screen out. Buy a 2nd screen from the wreckers and buy a new rubber. Fit rubber to the windscreen pannel and slide the bottom edge of the screen into the rubber as much as possible apply medium pressure to the rest of the screen and use a small flat blade screwdriver to hook the rest of the rubber over the outside screen edge. Lightly tap the glass till it sits evenly and seal with black mastic under the edges. I ahd to do this to my own 40 series a while ago whilst re painting it
