I believe he has a rather large contract to complete, and doesn't have the resources (space and manpower) ATM for much else, in addition to his normal competition work.

A list of outlets that stock our products will be available soon.
Any retailers interested in selling Cheezy Racing products, please call on (03) 9762 9032. Retailers will receive free advertising on our web site.
Also soon we will begin making and selling buggies for comps, from frame to complete, more information to come shortly.

So does this mean the prices of his gear will also rise due to them being sold through a retailer.

Similar situation...
We asked Telstra to install a line to a job site. The phones were required for the construction only (no need for them to be there after the job).
So after 2 months of planning (before the job started). A furthur 3 months before construction. And another 6 months of construction, Telstra still hadn't put in the phone line.
Once construction was completed we got a bill $$$ from Telstra saying they have installed the line (12 months too late). So we sent them that bill back, along with our schedule and mobile bills from the last 11 months... Funny thing is, they paid up and we never heard from them again.
I think the phone line is still working out there too.

bloody telstra.
something stuffed up at our exchange and our phone ended up hooked up to a lady about a block away from us. Everytime she called out, it would register as us calling out at the same time, and everytime we called out, her phone line would dial the number we had called. whenever anyone dialed either number, both phones would ring, so dependant on who was quickest to the phone was who you got.
it took telstra a couple of months to acknowlege the problem and rectify it
and they won't waive any calls on either bill, even though both her bill and our bill is the same (i.e. we both called the same number in england at the same time etc.)
