which year hilux had a front housing with only half of a bottom gusset?? just checked my spare which i had never unwrapped.

Also does anyone know if the perches on all solid front hilux's are at the same camber???

For the trussing I think its up to 83 had small amounts of trussing, after that had the full width, I`m not 100% on that but as it might have been up to around 85 had small trussing.

As for the perches I think they are all the same.

I think your right Guts up to 83, my 84 4Runner has the full gusset.

thanks for the replies, the gusset goes to within about 50mm or so of the pass spring perch i always thought early model ones had less than that.

their used to be a website detailing all the differences, but i cant remember its address.
