rims
hi i was in need off a set off rims with a big offset to get a bit more width out off my mates pajero it is a 83 short wheelbase with a spring lift seen some old toyota's around with wheels that look like they will fit with good offset but am unsure off what models anyone able to help
As far as I know all Toyota 6 stud wheels share the same stud pattern as the Paj. I believe Cruisers have an offset of -23 vs Paj +10, so you'd get more than 2 inches track increase - but this will knock about steering and balljoints.
Others should be able to give you specific experiences, so hand around.

Yep factory 15x7" & 16x7" Paj Gen 2 alloys are +10mm offset.
The factory 15x6" & 16x6" Paj Gen 1 & 2 steelies are +22mm offset.
The factory 16x7" Gen 3 alloys are +46mm offset.
For aftermarket in the traditional white Sunraysia style steel rim there are two main brands :-
Speedy
Desert Rat
15x8" = +7mm offset
16x7" = +18mm offset
Not available in 16x8"

ROH
Trak 2
15x8" = -22mm offset & -10mm offset
16x8" = -13mm offset
Trak Australia
15x8" = -22mm offset

There are more choices in offset for the 15x7" size.
I have had the Speedy 15x8" rims with the +7mm offset and I found they sat inboard way too far and did rub on front steering parts that was with a 32x11.5" muddy and a 2.5" suspension lift.
I later changed to 33x12.5" muddy's on the ROH Trac 2 rims with the -22mm offset and had no rubbing at all.
The ROH offset is better suited for a larger 32"+ and wider 11.5"+ tyre to stop it rubbing on steering components. The wider track also helps with stability offroad.
