just wonderin if suzuki ever made any diesels? i heard that they did over seas, but not here in oz

In far away countries you can get the 413 derivative with a diesel .
Here in NZ we get the vitara generation 2 with a mazda diesel , 2.0 turbo etc . Wonder how hard it would be to swap into a pertol vitara

In russia i saw a zook with a bonnet scoop that looked really standard. THere were a few around. Looked to be turbo diesels? dunno though. Tried to have a look and got a photo of one but will have to scan it in. Would be good to have one here!

yeah, they really need a diesel, especially the larger 4door Suzukis as the petrols are undersized/powered so use a fair amount of petrol to push em along

my old sierra had the 1300carby and that was just too gutless, would have been great with somethin similar to the daihatsu 2.5litre Diesel in it

Spain got a 1.9 litre turbo diesel by Peugeot--man was it congested under the bonnet!!

the diesels over here have been PSA sourced (peugeot) 2.0l units since about mid 2002.
