I looked into this recently using 15" x 8" cruiser rims.

The cruiser rims has a different offset and on a GU they will stick out further causing the tyres to be close to prodruding past the guards.

I tested a 15 x 7" rim with a 35" tyre (not mine) and the tyre was close to the outside guard.

shouldn't mount a 35 on a 7".

crusier offset should be fine. i've seen 10" with far bigger offset run on a 3" patrol gu and all was fine

Yeah I know bru21 someone else was using it as a spare for their truck. I tried it on my vehicle and it looked pretty close to the edge.
I measured the cruiser rim and I can only imagine it would stick out further.............but if a 10" cruiser rim isn't close the edge than I must have calculated incorrectly.

I chucked it on the back. There would definately be alot more mud and rocks thrown onto the car from the gaps. The flares didn't cover all.

More mud.......cool.....more rocks.....not so cool......ah it's a 4wd...
