4Y-E 4Runner Rough Starting???

Post by luxbloke »

Hey Guys,

My Petrol 4Runner has started to have trouble in the morning when it starts first thing.

Never during the day only in the mornings after it's been sitting overnight - It just takes a few cranks and splatters like a sex toy for a bit and then its right???

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Cheers
Matt

I used to have a 3y, i just revved the bitch and told it who's boss. Other wise i'd just check the plugs leads and other electrial bits that made me go diesel :)

The 4Y-E has a separate cold start injector and it could be playing up and dumping too much fuel in on startup.

Plugs are Platinum Toyota plugs so they wouldn't want to be stuffed yet, and leads arn't that old...

Didn't know about that Cold Start injector thought...
