Mq rear diff different in wheelbase models ??

Does a MQ shorty have a smaller rear diff housing than a longy ?
Did the rears come out with disc's ?

nope only the late model utes had the larger type diff housing. All the rest had the same h233 diff housing with varying ratio's. 4.6 being the most common.

none of them ever had disk.......there was someone on here that had a conversion done but it was a bitsa and not factory.

disk brake conversion on the rear is massively easy to do and under $150 to convert i reckon...

but yeh wat jtraf said is correct ;)
