Canvas seat covers

Post by Slug »

My dog goes bush with me and often she spends her spare time up to her arse in water...Then expects to clamber all over the back seat
We had a set on a bush ambulance I used to drive a while ago but cant recall the brand.

Anyone have a set and or first hand knowledge of whats good and whats not ?

Cheers

Thanks Tiny :D
What breed are they?... Googling madly here but fit and finish is hard to see online. Set we had on the ambulance were a waxy looking canvas similar to a drizabone style material.

First hand,
Dingo seat covers in Weipa are the Ducks Guts.
True quality in a canvas cover.
Yup they are a sponsor of mine, but I'd be sayin the same thing even if they weren't.

A mate who worked in a 4WD store also backed up these comments after fitting truck loads of many brands to various vehicles

If it's already been thought of...
There has to be a better way...

I'm the same with the dog. I've got Black Duck canvas seat covers and they are definately the go. Designed really well, made really well and durable as, not to mention waterproof.

I bought some Autobarn "Safari 4x4" canvas covers.
Very happy with them $80
Pockets all over them for stuff.
Adjustable fit but obviosly not as good as the $300 ones.

black ducks are defintely the go.

I know of guys who have had them for 10 years on one vehicle.

Mine have have blood guts grease rain mud, numerous wet/muddy dogs and still look 100%. (saved my seats big time !!)

cheers
