Toyota Hilux Speed Alerter

Post by V6XtraHilux »

Guys,
Anybody know of someone or someplace where I can get a Speed Alerter (one of those beeping things that goes off when u go over a certain speed, similar to the ones fitted to Holdens)?

Need to stick it on the Hilux as im prone to speeding and dont have unlimited supply of points!!!

Anybody got experience with the Holden ones, ie. how easy to customise it to suit the Hilux?

ANy info would be good, and NO replies saying that I should slow down, thats a given! :finger:

Thanks.

Try the Toyota Surf site. The Surfs have one fitted, but most people are trying to shut the bloody things up.

Thanks guys,
The VDO one is $155 and requires a special attachment to connect to the gearbox or speedo cabling, Autobarn cant seem to figure out which one! and how much!!

I'll check out the Surf web pages,

Cheers
