you must carry all gear with you while competing. All sleeping gear, clothes, food, any cooking gear, spares, etc, must be on the truck at the start of each stage.

if you want family to come out, call the organisors for details.

Whaddya mean soft, it's only two and a half days of hard driving, winching, navigation, first aid, mechanical and other challenges. It's not like you have to camp out in sub zero temperatures and be up before the crack of dawn or anything.

Oh hang on, yes it is

Was out there yesterday doing some clearing and sorting out on my stage, all i can is "INTERESTING". I know one thing for sure we wont be calling anyone SOFT who enters this event & i think that $3000 first place prize will help numb the pain of cool temperatures. Steve you coming down again this year?. Looking forward to seeing everyone again & some new faces.

Attention all navvy's......

Don't worry about the cold water. Just do what I did last year. Tell your driver (the REAL soft one), that if he doesn't drive the water sections, you're just gonna run across his bonnet to keep your tootsies warm and dry. :D Which, can be a little detrimental to his paint work if you wear spikes!!!

I'll be down there officialling this year, so I can't wait to see what Rob and the other G.C boys have in store for this year's victi.., oops, I mean, competitors.

See ya's all down there.
