does anyone know if you can get aftermarket bodymounts for the gq? also are they any good, where do you get em and how much?

There are kits on ebay for like $100.

Other then that, you could get a metal works to make them.

Or some people use the blocks that sit on the side of the boat to stop it from hitting on shit.

Those cut in half end up being 2".

I dont think he means body lift he means the rubber body mounts

yeah i'm talking about the mounts, not body lift. so i guess nobody has used non genuine mounts then.

Put it in the wanted section. I think I have 4 left over from my chop and should have a couple left over from a customers SWB chop in a couple of weeks. You can have them. I like your thinking champ.

I think $40 per mount is ok. They last about 10 years.
Be careful using old ones that have squashed down as they stress the body.

What is expensive is $238 for 10 bolts!!
Go to a bolt place and get 8.8s and nylocks or just reuse old ones...

I found some on the Pedders web site yesterday but i have not seen them so I dont know what they are made of.

They have front and rear listed.

I was quoted $113 for the rear.
